Christian Oliver, American Actor, and His Two Daughters Die in Caribbean Plane Crash

 Christian Oliver, known for his roles in films such as Speed ​​Racer and The Good German, tragically lost his life along with his two daughters in a plane crash in the Caribbean, according to authorities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

The incident occurred on Thursday near Petit Nevis island close to Bequia, as the aircraft was en route to St. Lucia. Reports suggest the single-engine plane encountered difficulties shortly after takeoff and subsequently crashed into the ocean.

"Shortly after departure, the aircraft experienced issues and went down into the sea," investigators confirmed.

Local response teams, including divers, fishermen, and coast guard personnel, quickly mobilized to the crash site following the emergency call.

Military personnel later recovered the bodies of those onboard: Oliver, his daughters Madita, aged 10, and Annik, aged 12, along with the pilot and aircraft owner, Robert Sachs of Bequia.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.

Deadline reported that Oliver had recently completed filming his final scenes for the upcoming movie Forever Hold Your Peace. Director Nick Lyon paid tribute to Oliver in an Instagram post late Thursday.

"We had talked about collaborating on a film for years and finally made it happen," Lyon wrote, reflecting on their professional relationship spanning five projects. "Thank you for being a wonderful colleague, actor, and friend."

Lyon described Oliver as "an incredibly brave actor and a beautiful soul."

In a statement, Oliver's ex-wife, and mother of their daughters expressed deep sorrow: "The strong bond, contagious laughter, and adventurous spirit shared by Madita and Annik will be deeply missed in their communities," she said.
