Meet the Woman Often Called the World's Most Jealous

Jealousy is a common emotion that many of us experience daily. Some people struggle to manage their jealousy, trying to keep it in check to prevent it from overwhelming their lives.

In relationships, dealing with jealousy can be particularly challenging, especially when one partner feels envious of the other. This dynamic can lead to discomfort but can also be humorous when observed from a distance.

A wild video features a woman famously dubbed the "most jealous woman in the world." She takes jealousy to an extreme, requiring her boyfriend to undergo a lie detector test every time he returns home and forbidding him from watching other women on TV.

Debbi Would and her husband, Steve, appeared on a talk show to discuss their unconventional relationship. Rather than following a typical dynamic, Debbi has imposed strict rules that Steve must follow. While jealousy can sometimes be healthy in small doses, requiring a partner to take a lie detector test upon returning home certainly crosses a line.

During a 2015 segment on This Morning in the UK, Debbi shared her reasons for feeling jealous, which had a semblance of logic. At 44 years old, she expressed that when you find a great partner, it's essential to hold on to them.

When asked if she feared her behavior might scare Steve away, she confidently stated she didn't think it would, and Steve echoed her sentiment, assuring viewers that if he intended to leave, he would have done so by now. He noted that Debbi has eased off on the lie detector tests and mentioned he doesn’t mind not watching other women on TV because he prefers sports like football and racing.

Debbi explained her restrictions on certain TV shows, suggesting that if he had a particularly attractive wife, their situation might be different. She worried that seeing other women might lead him to think of them inappropriately.

They later returned to the show to discuss Debbi’s Othello Syndrome, a condition characterized by a belief that one's partner is cheating, often resulting in intense jealousy. Fortunately, there are treatments available, including medication and therapy, that can help manage this condition.
