Tom Selleck was recently spotted working out in Thousand Oaks following the conclusion of Blue Bloods in June. Dressed in a rugged all-black gym outfit, Selleck wore Brooks running shoes and comfortable high-waisted shorts as he strolled through the area. His signature mustache, well-groomed as always, complemented his salt-and-pepper hair.
After the sudden cancellation of Blue Bloods, Selleck has been enjoying some downtime with his wife, Jillie Mack, on their expansive 65-acre California ranch. On the show, Selleck portrayed NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan, and he’s openly expressed disappointment with how the series ended. He has shared his hope that CBS might reconsider their decision. However, with season 14 set to wrap up in October and no new episodes planned, it seems unlikely the show will continue.

Despite his sizable income, earning up to $200,000 per episode, Selleck admitted the show’s cancellation could impact his financial situation. In a recent interview on CBS Sunday Morning, he told journalist Tracy Smith that his current earnings might not be enough to support his long-term retirement plans on the ranch.
Still, Selleck sees a silver lining in stepping away from Blue Bloods. He views it as an opportunity to slow down and spend more quality time with his wife, Jillie. The couple, who remain deeply connected, are enjoying this phase of life together.

Additionally, Selleck has expressed a desire for his daughter, Hannah, an accomplished equestrian, to get married, as he’s not yet a grandfather. Recently, Selleck has also reduced his frequent trips to the East Coast for filming, opting for a more relaxed schedule as he transitions into this new chapter of his life.
