Soap opera fans are mourning the loss of actress, writer, and producer Ellen Weston, who has died at the age of 87.
Widely recognized for her role as Suzanne Thurston on the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless, Weston passed away on May 28 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to her friend and manager, Susan Zachary.
Born in New York City on April 19, 1939, Weston built an impressive career that spanned more than 60 years in the entertainment industry. Along with her memorable work on The Young and the Restless, she appeared in a number of popular television series, including Guiding Light, Another World, Get Smart, Bewitched, Wonder Woman, and The Bob Newhart Show.
